Join Jessie Chapman and facilitators for an inspirational 8 day yoga retreat holiday perfect for those wanting to deepen their yoga practice in a beautiful location with lots of scenic walking, inspiring day tours and rich art & culinary experiences.

We stay at ‘Ebbio’, a 14th century villa just outside Sienna. This classic Tuscan farmhouse has been renovated into a yoga retreat with a large polished floor yoga space, hot tub, walking trails, undulating hills covered in vineyards, olive trees, organic gardens and an enchanting evergreen forest to explore.

Yoga is taught by Jessie Chapman who's inspirational classes are designed for all levels from the beginner to the more experienced practitioner. Yoga assistants give individual adjustments in the classes and special attention is given to complete beginners. Jessie has been practicing yoga since 1991 and teaching since 1996. Other retreat classes include pre lunch core strength classes to target weak abdominal and lower back muscles, guided meditation, bhajans (chanting) and evening yoga nidra for a restful sleep. Massage is available in-house.

Our daily explorations include journeys to the medieval towns of Sienna, San Gimignano & Volterra, visits to museums and cathedrals, scenic hiking, guided nature walks, vineyard tour, wine tasting and more.

optional activities at Ebbio:
horse riding, mountain bike riding, use of the hot tub, massage and body treatments, day trip to Florence (only 42kms drive from Ebbio).

arriving & departing: aim to arrive around mid morning although if arriving earlier that's okay. Lunch is provided from 1 pm onwards and the first yoga class is at 5 pm. Retreat ends midday on the last day.

getting there: transfers to and from Sienna are included in the retreat price. Airport pick-up to and from Florence can also be booked for an extra fee. Ebbio (www.ebbio.com) is in the province of Sienna. If flying into Italy choose between Pisa, Florence or Rome as your Airport destination. All surrounding airports are connected via the Italian railway system. Sienna and Castellina in Chianti are the closest train stations. Full details are sent upon registration.
